Panini Comics and Asmodee Italia to publish new novels from the UBISOFT universe in Italian

ASSASSIN’S CREED®: THE MING STORM and WATCH DOGS®: LEGION – DAY ZERO

Panini Comics and Asmodee Italia announce the arrival of two new novels that will enrich and expand the already deep universes of Assassin's Creed and Watch Dogs: Legion, two of the most popular and recognized video games developed by Ubisoft. Italian fans of the two titles will be able to explore more of their favourite game worlds thanks to the imminent arrival of these novels, previously published in the USA and UK by Aconyte, the novel division of Asmodee #entertainment.

Written by bestselling novelist Yan Leisheng, Assassin’s Creed: The Ming Storm, available from November 2021, tells the story of Shao Jun, who appeared in the game Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China and in the short film Assassin’s Creed: Embers. She is an assassin who lives in 16th century China, who is forced to flee to Europe where she trains at Ezio Auditore’s court, before returning home to take back what is rightfully hers. The Ming Storm is the first book of an exciting trilogy for #paninicomics that will shed light on new aspects of the world of the Assassins, and will allow the game’s many millions of fans to learn more about Shao Jun and her world.

Day Zero, out 25th November, 2021 from Asmodee Italia, is the prequel novel to the events of the video game Watch Dogs: Legion. In a gloomy and dystopian London, sinister forces fighting for control of the nation are thwarted by a secret group of activists and hackers known as DedSec. Written by British authors James Swallow and Josh Reynolds, the novel tells of an aspiring hacker, bicycle courier Olly Soames, who after witnessing a heinous murder gets involved in a conspiracy. Olly isn’t the only one in trouble, and Day Zero tells the stories of three other people dragged into a shady crime ring that threatens to throw the entre city into chaos...
