Comunicato Stampa disponibile solo in lingua originale.

  • Executive Vice-president for Human Resources and Organisation, #xavierros, talks about training with #javierrodriguezzapatero, President and founder of ISDI

According to a study by Oxford University, 47% of today’s jobs will have disappeared in the next 25 years. But what if it weren’t a matter of surviving the digital revolution, but of leading it? Continuous training is one of the strategies that many companies have begun to use to improve their employees’ performance and results and get ahead of the disruptions that the digital world has in store.

High-level expertise. To analyse the role of training in companies and in the future of society, #seat S.A. Executive Vice-president for Human Resources and Organisation, #xavierros, and the President and founder of ISDI (Higher Institute for Internet Development), #javierrodriguezzapatero, accepted an invitation to Moving Forward to talk about training in a new episode of the #seat S.A. #podcast, now available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Ivoox.

The value of investment. In order to promote training in the corporate sphere, #seat S.A. Executive Vice-president for Human Resources and Organisation shared the company’s training strategies: “We invest an average of 1,500 euros per year per employee, some 23 million euros in total.” Ros also emphasised his will to turn #seat S.A. into a “training ecosystem, a learning organisation” for employees: “They simply have to show their desire, and the company takes care of everything else”.

A future ahead. For Ros, the key to the short and long-term future is to put training at the centre of business and social life. Meanwhile, Zapatero sees the future as child’s game: “The future of education is that we should always be able to feel like children and also be very excited about the next step in our own learning” he says.
