Cliff Bleszinski and Alex de Campi’s Scrapper Launches at San Diego Comic-Con

Today, #gaming visionary Cliff Bleszinski (Gears of War, Unreal Tournament) and superstar scribe Alex de Campi (Dracula, Motherf**ker!, Madi) are proud to launch the first issue of their dog-centric comic series Scrapper in the lead-up to San Diego Comic-Con. This personal story of love and loss holds a near and dear place in Bleszinski's heart, as it mixes Blade Runner-style action and mystery with friendship, thrills, and, most importantly, man's best friend!

"As a lifelong fan of comics it's an honor to actually create one with Alex," said Bleszinski. "Scrapper comes from the heart; first, the loss of my Aussie Teddy and then finding puppy love again with our Pomsky Lady. I truly hope everyone enjoys this deeply personal work."

Published by I mage Comics, the series follows good dog #scrapper and his buddy Tank as they fight for justice against the totalitarian forces of a post-apocalyptic domed city. But when the fight comes to his home, #scrapper will lose what's most important to him and gain a terrifying truth in the process.

Scrapper #1 releases in comic book stores today, with the remaining issues launching monthly until December 2023.
